From Massachusetts to Alaska, Texas to Florida (as well as a few sites overseas) more than 10,000 University of Montana and Montana State alumni and friends gather at over 85 different locations to watch one of the greatest rivalries in the nation – the annual Griz/Cat football game affectionately known as the Brawl of the Wild.

These parties would not happen without the assistance of our faithful volunteers. They give tirelessly to ensure the gatherings run smoothly.  The next time you run into your coordinator, please give them a hearty thank you for volunteering their time and energy.

Health & Safety: You are the heart of UM, and the University of Montana Alumni Association wants ensure you and your guests experience a healthy and safe Brawl of the Wild. All watch parties will follow local regulations for public gatherings. Griz-Cat coordinators are working hard to navigate COVID19 regulations across the states — we are so grateful! Please be patient and check back regularly for watch party updates.
