Reece Brandon

Reece Brandon from Kalispell is majoring in pre-professional exercise science with a minor in global public health. Outside of his classwork and job-shadowing, he is a Global Grizzlies secretary and mentor, New Directions Wellness Center volunteer, anatomy and physiology lecture peer leader, Health and Human Performance peer adviser, UM Davidson Honors College student and UM Pre-Physical Therapy Club vice president. Passionate about photography and cinematography, he also created a video documentary on Ugandan health care while abroad with Global Grizzlies.

Taylor Gregory

Taylor Gregory from Lolo is majoring in political science with a concentration in international relations and minor in Spanish and Latin American studies. He is an active campus community member, serving as president of Montana Model United Nations, student senator for Associated Students of UM and Student Involvement Network event coordinator. He also is a volunteer speech and debate coach, Advocates admissions tour guide and orientation leader, and Sigma Phi Epsilon executive. His dream is to work in multilateral diplomacy, and he is studying abroad in Brussels this fall.

Anna Kenney

Anna Kenney from Missoula is majoring in human biological sciences with a minor in Japanese. She has volunteered with UM’s Global Partners, the Mental Health Association’s Our House Drop-in Center, UM’s International Conversation Partners and Relay for Life, as well as other groups such as UM’s Japanese Student Association. In addition to publishing a research paper, she also has worked as a research assistant in Dr. Bret Tobalske’s Flight Lab and Dr. Sarah Certel’s Neuroscience Lab. She researched mental illness while studying abroad in Japan and plans to go to medical school.

Molly Putnam

Molly Putnam from Billings is studying business management information systems and finance with a minor in history. She brings to UM volunteer experience with St. Vincent Hospital in Billings, Rocky Mountain Community Church in Tijuana, Mexico, and Montana Domestic Violence Programs in Missoula, among other groups. At UM, she is involved as a member of the Davidson Honors College, the Management Information Systems Association, Blackstone LaunchPad and its EPIC Humans student group. She hopes to one day translate her skills and experiences to the nonprofit sector.

Madison Reichelt

Madison Reichelt from Big Sandy is majoring in exercise science and human biological science. Besides dedicating numerous hours to community service, she has worked as a chemistry tutor, Global Grizzlies mentor and lecturer, co-founder of the ASUM “Student Group of the Year” Knit and Crocharity, executive board member of St. Jude Up ’til Dawn and more. She also is a member of the Davidson Honors College and volunteer in UM’s immunology lab. With the dream of joining the Peace Corps and becoming a physician for her hometown, she spent last summer in Uganda working at a hospital maternity ward.

Ryan Sandau

Ryan Sandau from Missoula is double-majoring in computer science and business management information systems with a minor in political science. A member of the Davidson Honors College, he has volunteered as a high school debate coach for Sentinel High School and certified archery instructor for the Missoula Girl Scout Day Camp, as well as been a team member in UM Intramural volleyball and Model United Nations. Since 2016, he also has worked as an IT technician for Accountable Business Solutions in Missoula and is passionate about one day working in technology or politics.

Kinsey Smith

Kinsey Smith from Missoula is majoring in pharmacy. As well as working as an intern for Providence St. Patrick Hospital, she volunteers with the Planned Parenthood Advocates of Montana. She also has worked as a peer mentor for the Davidson Honors College Introduction to Honors course, a member of the Skaggs School of Pharmacy Student Evaluation Committee, a co-founder of Operation Women’s Health at UM, a treasurer of the Honors Student Association and in the Association for the Academy of Student Pharmacists. She is a part of the LeadershipU program.

Keegan Whelan

Keegan Whelan from Butte is majoring in pharmacy. He is a past Student Advisory Council participant in the Davidson Honors College, a Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity rush chairman, a past president of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, a member of the Order of Omega Honor Society and a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He also works at UM’s Curry Health Center Pharmacy and, after he graduates, wants to focus on drug abuse and suicide prevention as a community health care advocate.

Madison Wickens

Madison Wickens from Clarkston, Washington, is majoring in English teaching. She has been involved with the UM Advocates for three years and volunteered with multiple organizations, such as Speech and Debate for Sentinel High School, Make-A-Wish Missoula, “Feeding the 406,” Meals on Wheels, Lewis and Clark State College: Kids’ College, DECA and numerous youth group volunteer events. She hopes to work at a Montana high school once she graduates, encouraging students to create positive change.
