The University of Montana Alumni Association is celebrating 125 years! Since our founding in 1901, UMAA has worked to keep alumni connected to their alma mater through gatherings, traditions, stories and more. Throughout 2026, we’ll be marking this milestone with special events and initiatives for alumni and friends.

Grizzly Pick & Pour
Join UMAA for a summer evening in the beautiful Mission Valley at Griz Owned Thunder Road Farms in Arlee for fresh berries, good company and a barn happy hour.
Spend the evening gathering sun-ripened raspberries during a private U-pick experience, then relax with fellow Grizzlies at a casual happy hour in the farm's rustic barn.
Whether you're catching up with old classmates, making new connections, or bringing along family and friends for a memorable summer outing, this event offers a uniquely Montana experience at one of our outstanding Griz Owned businesses.

125 Commemorative Beer
The UM brewing science class, UMAA and local Griz Owned brewery Draught Works have teamed up to bring you 1901, the official beer to commemorate 125 years of the alumni association! This hoppy lager, made with malts and hops all produced in Montana, was made by Grizzlies, for Grizzlies.

Specialty Cocktails for 125
UMAA and Griz Owned Lolo Creek Distillery have teamed up to bring you two (2) UM-inspired specialty cocktails to commemorate 125 years of the alumni association! These are only available at LCD!
LCD will have these specialty cocktails available every second Wednesday of the month the rest of the year!

The Griz Mule - Cinnamon Infused Vodka, Lime Juice, Cranberry Juice, Bordeaux Cherry Juice, Cock N Bull Ginger Beer
The Monte Mule - LCD Gin, Lime Juice, Orange Juice, Cranberry Juice, Cock N Bull Ginger Beer
125 Miles of Brew
Hop on the MT Party Bus with UMAA and make the trek down the Bitterroot to a number of Griz Owned establishments for a beverage! We will be making stops at 4 locations while covering 125 miles.
