This year three UM alumni and long-term campus employees are serving as Homecoming parade marshals.
If you've lived in a dorm, if you had to pay for school, or if you've been the beneficiary of a scholarship or student loan, you've probably dealt with one of these gentlemen. These delightful and hard-working men have touched the lives of thousands of students in their 120 combined years of service to UM. Left to right:
Mick Hanson graduated from UM in 1976 with an MBA degree. Mick started his career as a program analyst in 19790 and has been at UM ever since. Mick now serves as Director of Financial Aid and has been with UM for 40 years.
Ron Brunell started as a resident assistant in 1967. Ron stayed with the Residence Life Office following graduation, eventually working his way up to the ranks to his current post as Director of Residence Life. Ron has been with UM for 42 years.
Charlie Thorne graduated from UM in 1970 and has been employed at UM since 1971. Charlie is the Assistant to the Vice President of Student Affairs and has been with UM for 38 years.
