The University of Montana Alumni group was formed in the summer of 2003. Today we reach out to over 1,000 alumni and friends, by helping them stay connected to the University of Montana through events like the Annual Homecoming Dinner & Football Tickets, Griz Football Tailgates, and UM Indian Alumni Merchandise. The UM Indian Alumni Group plays an integral role in the success and viability of the University of Montana and its indigenous graduates. We sponsor activities that connect alumni with each other and their alma mater.

The Greek Task Force is an organization of UM Greek men and women, primarily alumni, who work to perpetuate Greek life on The University of Montana campus, a legacy extending back more than 100 years. We do this through supporting, nurturing, and advancing Greek ideals, promoting recruitment, and helping build a strong Greek student body at The University of Montana.

More than 40 members came back to UM to participate in the Alumni Band’s inaugural Homecoming parade march in 1989. Nearly 90 members participated last year. The band always welcomes new members.
