and the Alumni Association

The University of Montana Alumni Association was founded in 1901 by Eloise Knowles and originally served 24 alumni. Today we reach out to over 75,000 alumni and friends, including 8,500 members, by helping them stay connected to the University of Montana through events, like Homecoming and class reunions, communications, like Alumni Activities and the Montanan magazine, and alumni services, like career services/alumni mentoring, and travel.
The Alumni Association plays an integral role in the success and viability of the University of Montana. We fund scholarships for deserving students and sponsor many programs and activities that connect alumni with each other and their alma mater. We also assist the University’s legislative advocacy efforts through board-driven volunteer efforts to gain support for higher education throughout the state.
The best way to get involved with the Alumni Association is by joining the UMAA as a member. Membership has its privileges - great benefits and the satisfaction of supporting your alma mater.
The UMAA Alumni Association is committed to providing meaningful programming and services that allows our alumni to Get Connected…Stay Connected. We are your lifelong connection back to The University of Montana. For more information, contact us today.
